We are a small social group it is important for us to have this in place. This nominal fee help us with:

1. Resource Allocation - All events require funds for venues, food, materials, and logistics. Membership fees help cover these costs. Remember – we are a not for profit group however there are several ongoing expenses (eg. Website maintenance, auditors, etc) that we need resources for. Limiting attendance to members ensures that resources are used efficiently for those who contribute to the group.

2. Community Building & Accountability - Membership fosters a sense of belonging, ensures accountability and commitment to the group’s values and objectives. Exclusive access to events encourages active participation and loyalty among members.

3. Event Management - Managing attendance is easier. Members are pre-registered, making planning smoother. Ensures that events are not overcrowded or underprepared.

4. Fundraising and Sustainability - Membership fees provide a steady income to sustain the group’s operations and charitable activities. Requiring membership for event attendance encourages more people to join and contribute financially.

5. Safety and Familiarity - By restricting events to members, the group can maintain a safer and more harmonious environment where participants share similar cultural or religious values. Knowing the attendees reduces the likelihood of disruptions or misunderstandings.
